THE PUPPIES, WEEK 4

Puppies Eating Their Porridge at 4 WeeksThe puppies are continuing to grow at a phenomenal rate, and continuing to develop their own unique little characters. To start week four, they all got another nail trimming, and each one also got a brand new necklace, since the old necklaces were becoming tight on most of the puppies. The puppies are now eating three times a day; a mixture of ground turkey, rice, canidae kibble and goat's milk, all blended together to make a tasty puppy porridge. After they polish off their meal, we make them wait for half an hour before they take a trip to Freyja's milk bar, since the puppies' budding little teeth are now developed enough to be painful for Freyja, and she's begun to be reluctant to nurse them as constantly. We've divided the pups into two teams, and they now get fed separately, which lessens the competition for the best teats, and there's less biting to hold on to their chosen spots.

This litter is the result of the successful first breeding of Freyja with the American and Italian Youth Champion, Terminetor B-Del Castello Gamenario, aka "Oscar" (find a link to his pedigree further below).
